Devon Technologies has been in existence for since 2007.  In February 2023, the baton was passed to Mark Henter & Colin McCune, retaining Matthew Smith as a lead technician while Doug takes his leave for retirement.  Matthew brings 5 years experience working with Doug along with him.

Presently we are in the process of attaining our low-voltage certification, and we have a great many years of cable pulling/patching and I.T. experience at the enterprise level, from the cables, to POS (point of sale) terminals, PinPads (Debit machine installation and configuration), even including general computer repair and troubleshooting.

Our goal is to provide businesses and organizations not only business communication(telephony) needs for VoIP and traditional phone lines, data networking, and wireless networks, but also quality service, sales, and installation of turnstile products and electronic article surveillance systems and other loss prevention methodology.  Additionally, we will expand to provide office supplies at reasonable rates without exorbitant shipping expenses added at the last minute.

Devon Technologies provides clients with cost-effective solutions for all their telecom, data networking, and wireless network needs by evaluating their present and future needs.

Our founder, Doug Zielsdorf had years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Having a passion for electronics from a young age, Doug studied industrial electronics in school before he began a career with Telus that spanned 23 years.
While working with Telus, Doug became a journeyman telecommunications electrician through the Alberta Apprenticeship Board. His career with Telus included working in various technical areas such as residential and small business, data communications, carrier systems, and Telus’s network operations control center troubleshooting and maintaining large network systems.
In British Columbia, Doug obtained his electrical contractor low voltage licensing for Metro Vancouver communities and established Devon Technologies in 2007.

We wish Doug and his wife the happiest of retirement experiences moving forward!
